Scones (Savoury cheese or sweet)

Makes 10 – 12

  • 225g almond flour
  • 1tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup egg white
  • 3 scoops pea protein powder (or use vanilla or chocolate for a non savoury and omit the cheese)
  • 60g finely grated cheese (I used cheddar and parmesan)

Mix all ingredients together until well blended.
Spoon mix onto baking sheet approx 2″ apart. Sprinkle a little extra cheese on top.
Bake at 200 degrees F for 10 – 15 mins until golden.

You can omit the pea protein and use vanilla or chocolate protein powder to make a sweeter scone. And leave out the cheese. You can also add spices such as cumin and cinnamon.
